Recommendations from friends, meeting with an acupuncturist, and verifying an acupuncturist's training and standing are all good way to help choose an acupuncturist.
When choosing an Acupuncturist:

  • Get recommendations from others who have been treated by an Acupuncturist.
  • Meet with the Acupuncturist.  Have a dialogue and ask all of your questions.  Being informed is the best way to know if acupuncture is right for you.
Verify the Acupuncturist's training, standing of his/her license, and accreditation with national certification organizations.

Testimonial

Dr. Ericksen has been wonderful! The day before I started coming to see him just a week ago I was in tears daily with the constant stabbing and cramping pain in my shoulder and chest! I had never been to a chiropractor before but I am glad I was recommended by a friend to give Dr Ericksen a try! Sweet relief!!! I am still not 100% today but I am very close compared to before the 3 treatments I have had with him! (Yes just 3 visits and I am feeling a lot better!) I have faith that I will just keep getting better with each visit!
